“Heaven Can Wait” B-24 Crew Recovery from the Bottom of the Pacific

On March 11, 1944 , in the midst of WW II, a B-24 bomber with the nose art that read "Heaven Can Wait" took off from Nadzab airfield in the South Pacific.
