Tin Triangle—the Vulcan’s lighthearted nickname in service was a stark contrast to the awesome capability of this aircraft. The Vulcan was not ground-breaking aerodynamically speaking, it could bring 21 1,000 pound bombs to bear on enemy forces, as well as having nuclear strike and anti-radar capabilities.
